We are looking for passionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers/Key Workers who want to make a positive difference in the lives of young people.
The Role
As a Support Worker/Key Worker, you will:
- Support young people to develop independent living skills.
- Build positive and professional relationships with young people.
- Complete key work sessions and create person-centred support plans.
- Carry out risk assessments and regularly review support plans.
- Encourage engagement in education, employment, and training.
- Maintain accurate daily records, incident reports, and case notes.
- Liaise with social workers, education providers, and other professionals.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, equality, and inclusion.
- Help young people achieve positive outcomes and prepare for independent living.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience working with young people, care leavers, or within supported accommodation.
- A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- A compassionate, resilient, and professional approach to supporting vulnerable young people.
- Right to work in the UK.
