Dual Hotel Manager — Revolver Glasgow & Edinburgh
Location: Glasgow (Merchant City) & Edinburgh (West End) — regular travel between both sites
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Competitive, DOE + bonus
About Revolver
Revolver is Scotland's stylish, social hostel brand — boutique-style accommodation with the buzz of a proper night out built in. Our Glasgow site sits inside the historic Virginia House in Merchant City; our Edinburgh site occupies a beautifully restored B-listed Victorian townhouse near Haymarket. Both properties mix private ensuite rooms, pod rooms, and dorms with a lively in-house bar, live music, and events — built for travellers who want comfort and atmosphere in equal measure.
The Role
We're looking for a Dual Hotel Manager to take full operational ownership of both the Glasgow and Edinburgh properties. You'll split your time between the two sites, leading a team across front of house, housekeeping, and bar/events, while making sure both locations deliver a consistent, high-energy Revolver experience.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who's comfortable running two busy, characterful properties at once — not a desk job.
What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day operations across both Glasgow and Edinburgh, splitting time between sites on a regular schedule
- Manage occupancy, pricing, and revenue performance across both properties, working closely with the wider Revolver Group
- Recruit, train, and lead front of house, housekeeping, and bar teams at each site
- Own guest experience end to end — reviews, complaints, standards, and the vibe that keeps people coming back
- Manage rotas, budgets, stock, and supplier relationships for both properties
- Ensure health & safety, licensing, and compliance standards are met at each site
- Drive the bar, live music, and events programme that sits at the heart of both hotels
- Report on performance and act as the main point of contact for ownership across both locations
What We're Looking For
- Proven hotel, hostel, or hospitality management experience, ideally across multiple sites
- Confidence running a licensed premises — bar and events experience is a big plus
- Strong people leadership: someone who can build and motivate teams in a fast-paced, social environment
- Commercially minded, with a good handle on budgets, occupancy, and revenue
- Comfortable travelling regularly between Glasgow and Edinburgh
- A genuine fit for the Revolver brand: sociable, energetic, and guest-obsessed, but with the operational discipline to back it up
What You'll Get
- Competitive salary
- Travel costs covered between sites
- Real autonomy running two flagship properties
- The chance to shape the culture and standards of a growing Scottish hospitality brand
