Summary
We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistants to join our team of dedicated and hard-working staff. Our staff have a passion for working with children and work hard to ensure they learn, progress and reach their potential. If appointed, you will be part of a team of teaching assistants and teachers who share a commitment to providing the best possible education for our children. The job is extremely rewarding as you know you are making a difference to the lives of the children you are working with. As well as being part of a wonderful staff team, we also have a supportive parent community, and we enjoy good links with the local community.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Promote positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
- Have high expectations for pupil learning, behaviour and attainment.
- Have a creative and practical approach to learning.
- Have a good working knowledge of the primary curriculum with excellent Numeracy and Literacy skills with experience of working across the school.
- Have experience of working with a range of Special Educational and behavioural needs.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to communicate clearly and to a high standard both verbally and in writing.
- Able to assist in the assessment, monitoring and recording of pupil progress and developmental needs.
- Support learning in the classroom.
- Wants to continually develop their skills and knowledge.
The post will involve working across the primary phase with children who have high levels of SEND and may include some lunchtime cover. Likely working hours will be Monday - Friday 9 - 12:30 and 1 - 3:30.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
- English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
TA qualification NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)

- Prior experience of working as a general teaching assistant throughout the primary phase.
