Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using efficient serving techniques
- Serve drinks and meals promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations
- Follow food safety protocols and assist in basic food preparation when needed
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up tables, restocking supplies, and cleaning
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key!
- Knowledge of serving procedures, food safety standards, and basic culinary practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience can enhance your ability to support food preparation tasks
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and POS systems accurately
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
