Weighing Machine Service Engineer - Worksop
Local family well established business is currently looking for a weighing machine service engineer, trainee or experienced.
We provide sales, service, repair and calibration services to our customers in South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and occasional further afield say London and Manchester etc. The weighing equipment we maintain range from small laboratory scales to weighbridges.
The ideal candidate be expected to work from our premises and also on customer's sites.
The requirements include the following:
- Good time keeping and enthusiastic
- The ideal candidate will be keen to participate in all aspects of the job and willing to learn
- Training will be given to the right candidate
- Be able to work on their own initiative and be a team member
- The ability to carry out repairs on weighing equipment
- To be able to repair various makes and models of weighing equipment
- To be able to work on their own initiative and also to work as a team member
- To be able and willing to communicate with customers to solve their breakdown problem
- Be organised and able to complete paperwork to a high standard
- Flexible in their approach to work
- Full driving licence required
Salary depending on experience (minimum from £28k per annum)
Hours of work 8.30am to 5.00pm (40 hours per week with bonuses and occasional overtime)
Experience:
- Weighing Machine : 1 year (preferred)
- Service Engineer: 1 year (required)
