‘Real’ paid work experience placement for up to 12 months. The Step Up to Work Programme is open to people aged 18 plus, who live in East Surrey. You must be currently unemployed for over 3 months and looking to gain essential skills and work experience to enhance your future employment prospects.**

What you’ll achieve in the role:
The overall purpose of this role is to provide support for the day-to-day management of Raven’s office spaces, ensuring they are safe, well-maintained, and operate efficiently. The role focuses on developing a high standard of service, maintaining compliance with statutory and health and safety requirements, and providing a comfortable and well-functioning working environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the facilities Lead with their daily tasks and projects.
- Liaising with Raven Housing staff and assisting the Letting Manager with tasks.
- Organising meetings, sending emails from the facility inbox, booking rooms and sending out invites.
- Taking part in weekly & monthly building inspections.
- To shadow the Facilities Lead and gain a good insight into the building upgrade works happening at Raven House.
What you’ll bring to Raven:
For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Closely follows procedures and processes to consistently and correctly implement policies in daily work.
- Punctual and consistently meets deadlines for routine tasks.
- Ability to use core MS tools and quickly learn other systems to complete duties and collaborate with colleagues.
- Always ensures a polite and professional tone with colleagues and customers.
