Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will ensure roofs are durable, weather-resistant, and built to the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine roofing specifications and installation procedures
- Install roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, tiles, or membranes with precision and attention to detail
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and secure roofing components
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure efficient workflow on-site
- Conduct repairs on damaged roofs by replacing worn or broken materials and sealing leaks effectively
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other construction professionals to coordinate project tasks
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents during high-altitude work or when handling hazardous materials
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing projects; familiarity with roofing systems is highly preferred
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, plumbing or related trades is a plus
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and roofing-specific equipment
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Knowledge of safety standards related to roofing work at heights and with construction materials
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship
