Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical knowledge, and leadership qualities to ensure properties are well-maintained, compliant, and efficiently managed. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in property management, admin and letting, and project coordination to contribute to a dynamic team. The successful applicant will be responsible for advertising and letting properties, supervising staff, managing maintenance projects, and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of multiple properties, ensuring smooth operations and tenant satisfaction.
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, coordinating repairs and upgrades efficiently.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Manage admin and paperwork for the company
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify repair needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Advertise properties arrange viewings and move in of tenants.
- Lead emergency response efforts and troubleshoot technical issues related to electrical or mechanical systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and tenant communications.
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards and legal requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to promote a professional environment.
Experience
- Proven management experience within property or facilities management roles.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of UK rental market.
- Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams or contractors.
This role requires a dedicated professional who is organised, detail-oriented, and capable of leading complex projects while maintaining excellent service standards across all managed properties.
Pay: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
