Join the Gedling Family Support and Safeguarding Team based at Sir John Robinson Way in Arnold. In this varied role, you will work with children of all ages who are supported by Child in Need or child protection plans, or who have a Child and Family Assessment in place. Your mission will be to empower families to recognise and build on their strengths, ensuring children are safe and thriving at home.
As a Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with families to create and implement plans that prioritise child safety and well-being.

Partnering with various agencies to identify and provide appropriate support services.

Responding to identified risks with the backing of your multi-disciplinary team.

Engaging with the whole family network to foster positive change within the home environment.
To thrive in this role, you will need:

A recognised social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.

At least 2 years of experience as a qualified Social Worker.

A solid understanding of relevant social care legislation.
