We are looking to hire an energetic and hardworking Warehouse Operative/Van Driver to be a part of our great team here at Brit Books.
Our Brit Books warehouse facility is located in Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes. Please note that the role involves work and collections only within Essex.
Preferable work experience would include working inside a warehouse as well as van driving experience.
Protective clothing will be provided (hi-vis, safety boots, gloves, face mask/covering).
Work Duties:
- Achieving daily targets set by Management.
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat, and well-organised.
- Weekly van collections, collecting stock from other organisations within Essex.
Requirements/Skills:
- A hardworking, quick, and efficient worker who works with urgency.
- Good communication skills.
- Comfortable working alone.
- Keen attention to detail with an eye for spotting small errors.
- Ability to stay on their feet throughout the working day.
- Ability to work well within a team while also showing independence.
Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar setting is beneficial, but most importantly, you will bring a genuine commitment to delivering a first-class Brit Books experience.
