Duties
- Repair and refinish damaged vehicle panels, frames, and other components using specialised tools and techniques.
- Assess vehicle damage to determine necessary repairs and parts replacement.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment efficiently and safely.
- Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues to complete repairs within specified timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct quality checks on repaired vehicles to ensure all work meets company standards before customer delivery.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or bodywork preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly, demonstrating physical strength and stamina.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a body shop environment is essential
