Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solderer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronic assembly processes, particularly in soldering components for various applications. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all products meet our high standards.
Duties
- Assemble electronic components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precise soldering techniques are applied.
- Work with surface mount technology (SMT) to assemble logic controllers and other electronic devices.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed assemblies to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues that may arise during production.
- Document production processes and report any discrepancies or defects in materials or components.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in soldering and electronic assembly is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) is an advantage.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electronic assembly tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
