Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor/Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle challenging situations with composure. This role offers an opportunity to work in a luxury hospitality environment where maintaining safety and providing a unique welcoming experience for guests is paramount. The successful applicant will be responsible for monitoring access points, welcoming guests upon entry, conducting surveillance, and implementing loss prevention measures to uphold a secure environment.
Duties
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, liaising with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of security activities throughout shifts.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner while providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct first aid when required, providing assistance to individuals in need until professional help arrives.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or doorman roles in luxury hospitality
- Valid security SIA Frontline door supervisor license.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and loss prevention techniques is desirable.
- First aid certification is highly beneficial.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physically fit, capable of standing for extended periods and performing patrols across premises.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or public holidays if required.
