The Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. You’ll carry out inspections using equipment, document findings, and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve inspection methodologies. Your work will directly support our commitment to delivering high-quality components that meet customer and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Quality Plans, FUD’s Inspection and Test Plans and supporting QA & NDT documentation
- Interpretation of the intent and ensuring the requirements of codes, standards and specifications are met.
- Liaise with QA Manager, Project Leads in relation to submission of documentation and QA requirements for projects / maintenance
- Ensuring WPS conformity (Making sure that the WPS is correct to the material type, thickness and diameter)
- Weld fit up inspection and visual inspection of welds and material
- Welder Qualification (Ensuring that the welder is qualified to perform the weld and ensuring prolongation)
- Cleanliness inspection (Ensuring the weld area is free from debris)
- Material Traceability (Ensuring that heat codes are correctly monitored and transferred)
- Calibration control (Ensuring that the any machinery, gauges, measuring equipment are calibrated and in date)
- Ensure all quality documentation/records are maintained within the Company’s Combined Management System (CMS)

- Able to manage / enable throughput of work from RFQ to despatch
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
