Create Homes. Build Community. Make Things Better.
We're looking for someone special to join our growing team.
This isn't your typical property management role. Whilst you'll be helping to look after a portfolio of high-quality shared homes across Watford and the surrounding area, this role is just as much about people as it is property.
We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about delivering an exceptional experience for our housemates and landlords. Someone who is organised, reliable, proactive and enjoys solving problems.
Previous property management experience isn't essential – we'll provide full training. What matters most is your attitude, values and willingness to learn.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of homes, helping ensure everything runs smoothly from the moment someone enquires about a room, right through to the day they move out.
Your role will include:
- Carrying out viewings and welcoming new housemates.
- Managing the onboarding process, including referencing, paperwork, check-ins and inventories.
- Completing property visits, inspections and routine compliance checks.
- Building great relationships with housemates and responding to day-to-day queries.
- Coordinating contractors, cleaners and gardeners to maintain high standards across the homes.
- Managing the administration that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
- Organising community initiatives and helping create homes people genuinely enjoy living in.
- Looking for ways to improve our systems, processes and customer experience.
No two days are ever the same, and that's exactly how we like it!
Who We're Looking For
You'll be a great fit if you are:
- Friendly, approachable and trustworthy.
- Reliable and someone who follows things through.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Calm under pressure and enjoys solving problems.
- Proactive and happy taking ownership.
- Confident communicating with a wide range of people.
- Comfortable learning new systems and technology.
- Excited by variety and being part of a growing business.
The Role
We're recruiting for two positions:
Property & Community Manager
- Approximately 15 hours per week (3 weekdays of your choice, around 5 hours per day).
- Flexibility to organise your own diary using our shared team calendar.
Property & Community Coordinator
- Approximately 8 hours per week.
- Split across weekday evenings and weekends.
- Supporting with viewings, check-ins, check-outs, property visits and general portfolio support.
Pay & Benefits
- £15 per hour.
- Monthly performance bonus available when occupancy exceeds targets.
- Full training provided.
- Flexible working.
- Opportunity to grow alongside a rapidly expanding business, with increased responsibilities and hours as our portfolio continues to grow.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to your own vehicle.
- Based within a reasonable travelling distance of Watford.
If you're looking for a varied role where you can make a genuine difference, enjoy working with people and want to be part of a growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
