Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and installation, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role involves installing windows and doors in residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
- Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and finish.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for installation tasks.
- Perform roofing, plumbing, electrical work, welding, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, and construction painting as required.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand installation requirements.
- Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards of quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
- Experience in window and door installation or similar construction roles.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques.
- Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, and construction painting is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's licence is preferred for transportation to job sites.
