Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Ensure all baked products meet quality standards for taste, appearance, and freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the baking area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all products produced.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules and ensure timely delivery of baked goods.
- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment, preferably in a baking or pastry role.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills related to baking.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
