Cook / Kitchen Assistant — Cullen Bay Hotel
We're looking for a Cook or Kitchen Assistant to join the team in our busy hotel kitchen, preparing and plating food to a high standard.
The role suits either an experienced cook looking for their next kitchen, or someone earlier in their career with a genuine interest in food who wants to build their skills and take on more over time. What matters most is reliability, a clean and organised approach, and working well alongside the rest of the team.
The role
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistent standard
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food safety regulations
- Working with the kitchen team through service and helping manage stock
- Supporting front of house to get dishes out promptly
- Scope to take on more responsibility, and input into the menu, as you settle in
Useful to have
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant
- A food hygiene certificate (Level 2), or willingness to work towards one
- Familiarity with standard kitchen equipment and techniques
Full or part time. Hours and wages negotiable depending on experience. This is not a live-in position.
