Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various settings, including guest rooms, public areas and leisure facilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and customer service to contribute to a welcoming environment. Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided.

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Change bed linens and organise rooms to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as needed
- Assist with laundry tasks where applicable
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety throughout all cleaning activities
- Respond promptly to specific guest requests or special instructions
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and stored securely after use
- Support additional tasks such as organising storage areas or assisting with minor maintenance when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Strong customer service skills to interact politely and professionally with clients or guests
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
- Basic cooking skills are considered a bonus but are not essential
- Flexibility to adapt to different environments and client needs
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy at all times
