Victoria Scaffold are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee our Scaffold teams across multiple projects throughout the north west.

Job Purpose
To manage multiple scaffolding contracts and projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements, industry standards, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities Contract Management
- Oversee scaffolding contracts from award through completion.
- Ensure contractual obligations are met by both the company and clients.
- Review contract terms, specifications, and project requirements.
- Manage contract variations, extensions, and claims.
- Monitor project performance against budgets and schedules.
Project Delivery
- Coordinate scaffold design, erection, modification, and dismantling activities.
- Ensure adequate labour, materials, and equipment are available for projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality standards.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within agreed costs.
Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Promote and enforce compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Ensure all scaffold operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Review risk assessments, method statements, and inspection records.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
- Support continuous improvement of safety performance.
Commercial Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts.
- Review costs, profitability, and financial performance of contracts.
- Approve invoices and monitor payment schedules.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with clients and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and additional revenue.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Attend client meetings and project progress reviews.
- Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for repeat business.
Team Leadership
- Manage site supervisors, scaffold inspectors, and operational teams.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of scaffold personnel.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide leadership and guidance.
- Promote a positive safety and performance culture.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive scaffolding industry experience.
- Advanced scaffolding qualification (e.g., Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme Advanced Scaffolder or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding regulations and industry best practice.
- Experience managing multiple contracts and construction projects.
- Commercial and budget management experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Management qualification.
- CISRS / CSCS / SMSTS
- Health and safety qualification such as National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health Certificate.
- Experience with temporary works management.
- Membership of a relevant professional body.
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND HAVE A VEHICLE

Pay: £220.00-£240.00 per day
