Full-Time Warehouse Operative
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Hours: Full-time
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team.
This is a physically demanding role suited to someone who enjoys being active and takes pride in working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As part of our warehouse team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time. You’ll also assist with stock movement and the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock.
- Maintaining high standards of warehouse organisation and cleanliness.
- Carrying out stock replenishment and inventory checks.
- Ensuring orders are prepared for dispatch to meet daily deadlines.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years’ warehouse experience is essential.
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving stock throughout the working day.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues.
- Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
