We’re working with a leading built environment and property services organisation that is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the addition of an Estimator to support a growing pipeline of social housing refurbishment, planned works, retrofit, and maintenance projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business delivering long-term partnerships with housing associations and local authorities, where you’ll play a key role in securing and supporting essential housing improvement programmes.
The Role
As an Estimator, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate and commercially competitive cost estimates across a range of social housing and property services contracts.
Working closely with operational, commercial, and pre-construction teams, you’ll support tender submissions and help drive value across planned maintenance and refurbishment schemes.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience as an Estimator within social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment, retrofit, or property services

Experience pricing works for housing associations, local authorities, or social housing frameworks

Strong understanding of schedules of rates, reactive maintenance, and planned works contracts

Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or similar) or equivalent industry experience

Strong Excel and estimating software skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple tenders within a fast-paced environment
