About OMOMO
OMOMO is an award-winning Korean street food restaurant in the heart of Derby, serving Korean comfort food in a friendly, relaxed and welcoming environment.
We are growing, and we're looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Restaurant Team Member to join our Derby team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers but is also genuinely interested in learning and helping in the kitchen.
What you'll be doing
You'll mainly support our Front of House team, helping to create a warm and welcoming experience for every customer.
Your role may include:
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly service
- Taking orders and using the till
- Serving food and drinks
- Preparing and serving bubble tea and drinks
- Keeping the restaurant clean, tidy and organised
- Helping with opening and closing duties
- Supporting the team during busy services
- Learning and assisting with kitchen preparation and service
- Helping with simple food preparation and kitchen tasks when required
- Working closely with both Front of House and Kitchen team members
We are a small, hands-on restaurant, so everyone helps each other. You won't be expected to do everything on day one — we'll train you and help you build your skills.
Who we're looking for
You don't need to be a professional chef or have years of restaurant experience.
We're particularly interested in people who are:

- Able to stay calm and helpful during busy periods
- Interested in learning both Front of House and Kitchen skills

Kitchen experience is a bonus, but not essential. What matters most to us is your attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay is from £12.71 per hour for eligible workers aged 21 and over; statutory minimum rates apply according to age and eligibility. 16 y/o+ welcomed to apply!
