Bar / Floor Staff at The Trading Room, Westcliff-On-Sea

Responsibilities:
- Bartending: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, with exceptional attention to quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Interact warmly with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Order Accuracy: Skillfully manage multiple orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in service delivery.
- Cash Handling: Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy in financial transactions.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area, promptly clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with cleaning duties.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations, supporting each other during peak hours and events.
- Adherence to Regulations: Strictly follow all health, safety, and alcohol licensing regulations to ensure the well-being of customers and staff.
- Upselling: Promote special offers, new menu items, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales growth.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixology is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Adherence to grooming and dress code standards.
