Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage systems with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain and troubleshoot heating systems such as boilers, radiators, thermostats, and related controls to ensure optimal performance
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble and modify plumbing and heating components as needed
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs promptly to prevent system failures
- Lift heavy equipment safely during installation or maintenance tasks while adhering to health and safety standards
- Read technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical plans to accurately execute installations or repairs
- Assist with the assembly of new systems or components on-site or in workshops as required
- Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials or equipment between sites when necessary
Experience
- Proven experience working as a plumbing or heating engineer in commercial or residential settings
- Skilled in welding techniques relevant to plumbing or heating system fabrication or repair
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting tasks essential for installation work
- Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing fixtures, heating systems, and related components
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical diagrams
- Experience with carpentry tasks related to system installation or modification is advantageous
- Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation duties
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
