Job Overview
We currently have an opening for an Administrative Assistant, initially covering a 9–12 month maternity leave with the opportunity to transition into a permanent Administrator role. We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive individual to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations, administrative functions, supporting the team and maintaining efficient office workflows.
This role provides an engaging opportunity for individuals with previous administrative experience and computer skills to contribute to the efficiency of our operations.
Organisation skills, attention to detail and warehouse experience are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and documentation management
- Assist with incoming calls, with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
- Liaise with customers, supplier, hauliers and warehouse operatives
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, releasing order to be picked, process documentation for goods in and out, deliveries and dispatches using WMS system
- Entering invoicing costs into system accurately and promptly
- Assist in resolving queries and completing documentation accurately
- Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning and emailing documents
Qualifications
- Proven office experience or administrative background
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good typing speed and data entry accuracy
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Be able to work with a warehouse managing system (experience desired, but not essential as full training will be provided)

Salary : Dependant on experience
Expected hours: Monday-Friday 08:00hrs to 17:00hrs with half hour paid lunch break.
Location: NR34 8JQ - Due to location, own transport is required.
