Overview
We are looking for summer workers to join our epic little team on a busy and thriving campsite beside Ullswater. We pride ourselves on having a great team with a good work ethic and a willingness to put on a good/passable playlist each day.
Our customers are holiday-makers and static lodge owners that come to us for everything from a pint of milk and a newspaper through to locally sourced meats and even tents and camping equipment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries in a professional manner
- Provide product information and advice, demonstrating strong merchandising techniques to enhance sales
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling transactions with confidence and maintaining proper phone etiquette
- Upsell products and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities
- Organise stock displays and ensure the shop floor remains tidy, well-stocked, and visually appealing
- Manage time efficiently to attend to customers promptly during busy periods
- Maintain organisational standards by keeping the shop clean and orderly at all times
