All about the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated part-time 1 to 1 teaching assistant to join our wonderful school family at Westwood with Iford Primary School for two days per week.
We are proud to be a diverse workforce where everyone plays a vital role. Working primarily under direction of the Class Teacher and the SENDCo you will support a student with planned learning activities and programmes on a 1:1 basis.
This is a rewarding role where you will be supporting a young person on their educational journey, inspiring them to break barriers and communicating with parents to establish positive home/school relationships.
We are looking for,

someone ideally with experience of working with SEN students, preferably in a primary environment.
- the ability to work effectively in a team and confident in supporting students in their progress through the curriculum.
- good organisational skills, flexible working practices and patience are also essential.
- someone who is confident in providing intimate personal care and able to manage personal care plans and delivery of medication.
- who can align with the vision and values of Westwood with Iford School and the Palladian Academy Trust.
