Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled 360 driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a 360-degree excavator to assist with various earthmoving, digging, lifting, and material handling tasks on-site. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project progress while maintaining safety standards and operational excellence. Duties
- Operate a 360-degree excavator safely and efficiently across different construction phases, including digging, lifting, grading, and site preparation
- Conduct routine inspections of the machinery to ensure optimal performance and identify any maintenance needs
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using the excavator, coordinating with other team members for smooth workflow
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
- Collaborate with project managers and other operators to execute tasks accurately and on schedule
- Maintain detailed logs of work performed, equipment usage, and any issues encountered during shifts
- Support general site cleanup and organization to uphold a safe and productive work area
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating a 360-degree excavator in a construction or similar environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent license for operating heavy machinery on public roads if required by local regulations
- Familiarity with excavation techniques, site safety standards, and environmental considerations
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
