Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, and other public areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Change linens, make beds, vacuum carpets, dust surfaces, and replenish supplies as needed
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting replacements when necessary
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and environmentally friendly cleaning practices
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks during scheduled periods or upon request
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience or hospitality background is highly preferred
- Proven janitorial experience demonstrating thoroughness and efficiency in cleaning tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a pristine environment
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward guest service and teamwork
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning motions throughout shifts
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Cloudbeds Knowledge preferred but not essential.
