HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

The Role
Hallam Express Ltd is looking for a professional Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our growing transport team in Rotherham.
You will be responsible for nationwide deliveries and collections of palletised goods, ensuring loads are delivered safely, on time, and with excellent customer service.
Duties include:
- Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles across the UK
- Delivering and collecting palletised freight
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery PODs/paperwork
- Maintaining communication with the transport office
- Representing the company professionally with customers
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- + 2 years HGV Experience
- Good communication skills and professional attitude
Previous 2 years’ experience in a Class 1 preferred.

Pay & Benefits
- £15.25 per hour (£15.79 with daily bonus) (Mon–Fri) – 46.25 hours paid per week + overtime
- Daily compliance/attendance bonus
- £17.50 per hour – Saturday
- £19.50 per hour – Sunday
- £26.20 night out allowance (tax free allowance)
- Paid weekly

- Death in Service cover after 1 year.
- 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) – increasing with time in service to 33 days
