Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) and SaaS Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize business-critical PostgreSQL database environments and cloud-based SaaS infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
-
PostgreSQL installation, configuration, performance tuning and optimization.
-
Backup, recovery, replication, clustering and disaster recovery management.
-
Database security, patching, upgrades and migrations.
-
SaaS platform administration, SSO, IAM and user lifecycle management.
-
Monitoring, automation, incident response and vendor management.
-
Cloud platform and Linux server administration.
-
Documentation, compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
-
Demonstrable PostgreSQL DBA experience.
-
Expertise in SQL, performance tuning and high availability.
-
Linux administration experience.
-
SaaS platform administration.
-
Azure knowledge.
-
Scripting with Bash, Python or PowerShell.
-
Security and compliance best practices.
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Relevant PostgreSQL, cloud or Linux certifications desirable.
Desirable Skills
-
Docker and Kubernetes.
-
Terraform or Ansible.
-
DevOps and CI/CD practices.
-
Multi-tenant SaaS environments.
