Buzzers Community CIC is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and qualified Trampolining Coach to join our activity provider team in Beckenham.
This role involves delivering one fun, engaging weekly trampolining session for secondary school girls on Mondays 15:00 - 16:00. You will support participants to develop confidence, coordination, fitness, and trampolining skills in a safe, enjoyable, and encouraging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver one engaging weekly trampolining session lasting one hour.
- Deliver age-appropriate trampolining activities for secondary school girls, suitable for a range of abilities and experience levels.
- Teach safe trampolining techniques, including fundamental skills, body control, balance, coordination, landing technique, and progressive skill development.
- Adapt activities to meet individual needs, confidence levels, and physical abilities.
- Maintain appropriate supervision and ensure participants follow safety instructions at all times.
- Create a fun, inclusive, supportive, and safe environment for all participants.
- Encourage physical activity, confidence, resilience, and positive wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents/guardians, and Buzzers Community CIC staff.
Requirements
- Recognised trampolining coaching qualification, appropriate to the level and setting of delivery.
- Experience delivering trampolining sessions to young people is preferred.
- Knowledge of trampoline safety procedures, risk assessment, and safe equipment use.
- Current DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Public liability insurance.
- First Aid certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A reliable, punctual, enthusiastic, and safety-focused approach to coaching.
