Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs
- Use welding techniques where necessary to secure roofing components or fabricate custom parts
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, or insulation safely and efficiently
- Conduct inspections of roofs for damage or wear, identifying necessary repairs or replacements
- Assist with related construction tasks including carpentry, masonry work, plumbing connections, and framing as needed
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during work operations to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields such as carpentry, masonry, or plumbing
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and fabrication processes
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction machinery
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively over extended periods
- Knowledge of roofing materials and installation techniques including shingles, metal roofing, or membrane systems
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: £102.35-£262.39 per day
