Duties
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment to carry out landscape maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
- Assist with planting, pruning, fertilising, and watering plants to promote healthy growth.
- Operate gardening machinery and equipment with care and precision.
- Conduct regular inspections of gardens and landscaped areas to identify areas needing attention or repair.
- Support the installation of new garden features or landscape elements as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is essential.
- A genuine interest in plant care, gardening practices, and landscape design.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks.
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality work standards.
- Basic knowledge of growing techniques and horticultural principles is advantageous.
