Join Our Team as a Deputy Manager – Community Support Bedded Unit
Are you an experienced, compassionate leader looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking an enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our Community Support Bedded Unit in the beautiful High Peak, where you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of outstanding care.
We have flexible opportunities available, with contracts ranging from 18.75 to 37.5 hours per week. You'll work across a 7 day service, including weekends and Bank Holidays, with shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm, offering a healthy work life balance while supporting the needs of the service.
As Deputy Manager for our Community Support Bedded Unit , you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the CQC Registered Manager to deliver safe, effective and high-quality 24-hour reablement and assessment services. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, shape service delivery and make a real difference to the lives of people across Derbyshire.
You'll provide day to day leadership and management to our care and support teams, creating a positive, inclusive and supportive working environment where colleagues feel valued and empowered to deliver outstanding care. You'll oversee staff supervision, appraisals, performance and attendance management, while supporting the recruitment, selection and development of a skilled and compassionate workforce.
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you'll coordinate staffing and rota management to ensure safe staffing levels, effective use of resources and continuity of care across the service.
You'll also take responsibility for the day to day operational management of the Community Support Bedded Unit, ensuring people have timely access to assessment, reablement and the support they need to maximise their independence. By working collaboratively with health and social care professionals, you'll help ensure smooth admission and discharge pathways, enabling people to receive the right care, at the right time, in the most appropriate setting.
