An exciting opportunity to work as a Lead Intelligence Analyst within Crime & Intelligence.
The role involves Leading, managing and directing the analytical team providing specialist advice across the Force. Provide expert advice to police and partners in respect of intelligence and analytical processes, systems and products. Oversee the production of both strategic and tactical analysis and its associated products.
As a subject matter expert in analysis, you will use professional expertise and evidence to guide and influence senior officers/staff and LCU command teams to ensure expectations are deliverable within available resources and that products optimise service delivery. Promoting and raising awareness by delivering presentations and training sessions is required in this role.
The post holder will monitor, task and direct the workload of the Analysts; prioritise work and products in accordance with the force’s strategic objectives, Force and LCU priorities, and the Delivery Plan. Reduce unnecessary demand on the Analysts, through effective use of technology, to enable greater capacity to hypothesise on current and future threat, harm and risk. Influence the focus of senior officers and LCU command teams through inference.
Capability to travel across the Force is required in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner and work flexibly. Due to unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working public transport may not be suitable. For this reason, a full driving licence is considered essential for this role.
