About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a well-established and reputable nursing home in Plymouth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and compassionate nurse looking for a full-time position with the flexibility to work either day or night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
- Assess, monitor and review residents' health and care needs.
- Administer medication safely and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with residents, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with CQC standards and relevant legislation.
- Support and guide care staff to maintain high standards of care.
- Respond appropriately to changes in residents' health and escalate concerns when required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care plans.
Requirements
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN/RN Adult).
- Previous nursing experience, preferably within a care or nursing home environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, professional and resident-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must have the existing right to work in the UK.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
