Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping team at Borrowdale Gates Hotel in Grange. This role is vital in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, reflecting our commitment to excellence in hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Lead, motivate, and support housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with front desk and maintenance teams to address guest needs.
- Train new staff and provide ongoing development opportunities.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules and staff performance.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or supervisory roles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Hospitality or janitorial experience is advantageous.
