Overview:
We are currently seeking a General Operative to join our team in a food production environment. The role involves supporting the production process and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment.
Duties:
- Assist in the food production process, including handling raw materials and finished products
- Operate machinery and equipment following safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the production area
- Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors
- Follow food safety regulations and procedures, including HACCP guidelines
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations related to production quantities
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor machinery issues
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Basic maths skills for measuring ingredients and quantities accurately
- Familiarity with HACCP principles is desirable
