Exciting opportunity with a growing company who cover North and West Yorkshire. For this role we are looking for an Area Manager or Area Supervisor that could cover areas around York, with a focus on York, Scarborough, Pickering and Malton. As well as supporting the York Regional Manager.
Who we are.
Betterclean provide outstanding Commercial Cleaning Services across the York, Harrogate, Leeds and surrounding areas. With a significant number of clients in Education and Healthcare and a significant number of new clients due to our ongoing commitment to quality we are now seeking an additional Area Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the onboarding and ongoing excellent delivery of service to customers. Working closely with the York Regional Manager and our Operations Director, you will be involved in all aspects of the business with an opportunity to develop new skills as well as demonstrate your existing expertise and capabilities. More than anything you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare of our staff and instilling our company ethos and values through everything we do. You will be given training and support throughout.
Who we are are looking for?
-You might be operating as a Area Supervisor, Area Manager or similar position - we are open to people with different experience levels as we are happy to support your development and progression.
-Experience managing a team or teams, dealing with people issues, customer relationships and general IT skills.
-Able to plan your time daily and be flexible to change
-Must have a drivers licence (Company vehicle provided)
-Happy to conduct Site visits, audits and quality control checks
-Happy to be hands on as needed for cover cleaning and working with your team. It is important you recognise that we expect all management to be hands on as required.
This role can be flexible, and so we are open to applications from people looking at potential part time or term time only roles

Salary: £26,000 to £36,000 (Pro rata for part time), DoE
Location: North Yorkshire, with a focus on Scarborough, Malton, Pickering. You will be supporting and working closely with the York Regional Manager.
