Property Manager
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 days, including occasional weekends)

Student Facility Management is a national provider of Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and Build to Rent (BtR), operating schemes across the UK. We are a growing and ambitious operator, known for delivering great service and well-managed student and residential homes.
We are now looking for an experienced and proactive Property Manager to lead operations in Sheffield. This is a pivotal role in our growing business, responsible for both block management and lettings performance across two sites.
The Role:
As Property Manager, you’ll be accountable for delivering an exceptional living experience across two locations. You’ll oversee the day-to-day management of our buildings, lead site teams, drive occupancy through effective lettings strategies, and ensure compliance and safety standards are always met.
You will report to the Head of Operations and be expected to manage relationships with tenants, staff, contractors, and wider stakeholders to ensure every aspect of our offering runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, support and motivate on-site teams to deliver excellent customer service and operational excellence.
- Oversee facilities and building management at two key properties, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and high standards of presentation.
- Work with our central sales team to support lettings process across four schemes, driving occupancy through proactive viewings, marketing and events.
- Monitor rent collection and arrears, taking appropriate steps to manage and recover outstanding accounts.
- Deliver operational KPIs across maintenance, compliance, tenancy management and tenant satisfaction.
- Communication to Leaseholders on their lets, rooms and maintenance
- Take ownership of local marketing initiatives and ensure accurate and timely communications with all prospective and current residents.
- Maintain accurate records, reports and administrative tasks in line with company procedures.
- Drive virtual community through events and leading onsite culture
- Be a key point of contact for emergencies or urgent issues, including occasional out-of-hours cover.What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in property management, ideally within the student accommodation or Build to Rent (BTR) sector.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and multiple sites.
- Confident communicator with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management systems.
- Willingness to work flexibly and cover occasional weekends or out-of-hours issues.
