Reception Supervisor

Set within 250 acres of stunning countryside just outside Windsor, our new five-star hotel will offer an exceptional guest experience combining luxury accommodation, an exclusive golf course, destination restaurants, a world-class spa and outstanding leisure facilities.
We're looking for an experienced Reception Supervisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, leading by example and creating memorable guest experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pre-opening team, helping to establish the standards and culture of a landmark luxury destination from day one.
The Role
Supporting the Duty Manager(s), you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of Reception, ensuring every guest receives a seamless, professional and personalised experience from arrival to departure.
You'll lead the Reception team during your shift, maintaining exceptional service standards while ensuring operational efficiency across check in, check out, guest enquiries and billing.
What You'll Be DoingDelivering Exceptional Guest Experiences
- Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality.
- Ensure seamless check in and check out experiences.
- Resolve guest enquiries and concerns confidently, escalating where appropriate.
- Maintain a visible presence within Reception and the lobby, supporting both guests and colleagues.
Leading the Reception Team
- Supervise Reception and Guest Services colleagues throughout each shift.
- Allocate duties and support the team to deliver consistently outstanding service.
- Lead daily briefings and maintain high standards of presentation, behaviour and professionalism.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members.
Managing Reception Operations
- Oversee room allocations, arrivals, departures, VIP guests and special requests.
- Support room upgrades and guest requests where appropriate.
- Ensure accurate billing, cash handling and guest account management.
- Complete effective shift handovers and maintain clear communication with the Night Team.
Maintaining Standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire safety and security procedures.
- Maintain a welcoming, organised and immaculate Reception environment.
- Uphold company policies, procedures and luxury service standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory experience within a luxury hotel or premium hospitality environment.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced luxury environment.
- Knowledge of hotel PMS systems is advantageous.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
