We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Conveyancing Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of conveyancing transactions from initial instructions through to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Conduct thorough title investigations and review property documentation to identify potential issues early on.
- Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage agreements with precision.
- Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, surveyors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication throughout the process.
- Maintain meticulous records of all case files, correspondence, and transaction details using IT systems.
- Monitor deadlines diligently to ensure all legal requirements are met within specified timeframes.
- Provide expert advice on property law matters and keep clients informed about progress at each stage of their transaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Qualified Solicitor with relevant conveyancing experience or a solicitor-in-training with strong interest in property law.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in IT systems related to case management and document drafting tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of current property legislation and best practices in conveyancing.
