Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our busy culinary team. Responsibilities
- Washing, peeling, and preparing ingredients as directed by the kitchen team
- Ensuring all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans are cleaned promptly and efficiently
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen area
- Organising storage areas for ingredients and equipment to ensure easy access
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods by managing cleaning duties swiftly
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food hygiene standards
- Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality settings is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
