Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches and salads, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, and possess strong time management skills. Responsibilities
- Prepare customised sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards
- Serve customers efficiently while delivering exceptional service
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
- Upsell additional items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales
- Ensure the work area is clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout shifts
- Handle cash register operations accurately and efficiently
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently
- Assist in opening and closing duties as required
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
- Experience with serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control are necessary
- Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial for understanding food handling practices
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
