Responsibilities
- Assist qualified pharmacy staff in dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring safety and compliance
- Provide excellent customer service by answering queries and offering medication advice within your scope of practice
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, stock levels, and patient interactions
- Help manage inventory by receiving deliveries, organizing stock, and checking expiry dates
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a clean, safe working environment
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to develop your knowledge of pharmacy procedures and medication management
Skills
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare setting is preferred but not essential
- Strong interest in medication administration and patient care with a proactive attitude
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications and recording information
