Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of our organisation. Duties
- Manage and maintain financial records using recognised accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
- Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as required for management review
- Support year-end accounting activities and liaise with external auditors if necessary
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and organisational policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- A recognised qualification in accounting or bookkeeping is desirable but not essential
