The Opportunity
As a Deburring Machine Operator, you will work in our fast-paced Machine Shop, acting as the final line of precision to ensure components are flawlessly manufactured. You will find a highly critical, detailed environment where "precision" isn't just a buzzword—it’s a lifesaver, and every single component you touch plays a part in bringing aircrew home safely.

What You’ll Do
Precision Finishing: Use dedicated machinery and hand tools to deburr high-precision aerospace components flawlessly.- Machine Operation: Competently operate manual workshop machines including milling, broaching, and grinding equipment.
- Technical Compliance: Read and interpret complex technical drawings, taking personal pride in meeting strict "zero-defect" standards.
- Workspace Excellence: Maintain a sharp, safe, and efficient workspace by actively using 5S workplace organisation principles.
- Quality Control: Review your own work, identify slight issues early, and contribute to continuous improvement in workshop quality.
What We’re Looking For
Machine Shop Background: Solid, proven experience working in a machine shop environment with the ability to operate manual machines (essential).- Technical Interpretation: Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret technical engineering drawings (essential).
- Precision Focus: Proven experience working in a detailed and steady way, maintaining absolute precision and a "quality-first" mindset (essential).
- Workplace Standards: A proactive approach to safety, workplace cleanliness, and structured 5S practices.
