Personal Assistant to International CEO
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive Personal Assistant to work directly with the Managing Director across multiple businesses and personal projects.
This is not a traditional PA role.
The role is fast-paced, varied and heavily focused on problem solving. You will often be given an end goal rather than a set of instructions, and we need someone who is confident taking ownership and working out how to make it happen.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and prioritising the Managing Director’s requests and ongoing projects
- Organising UK and international travel
- Researching unusual requests and finding solutions
- Coordinating vehicles, logistics, suppliers and purchases
- Liaising with managers, employees and external companies
- Making calls, obtaining quotes and chasing outstanding actions
- Assisting with recruitment and business administration
- Preparing emails, documents, meeting notes and reports
- Supporting personal, business and motorsport-related projects
- Keeping track of multiple tasks and making sure things actually get finished
- Dealing with last-minute changes and unexpected problems
Who we’re looking for
You need to be:
- Exceptionally organised
- Proactive and resourceful
- Confident on the phone
- A natural problem solver
- Comfortable making decisions and using your initiative
- Good at researching and finding answers
- Able to manage multiple priorities at once
- Persistent when chasing people or getting things resolved
- Discreet and trustworthy
- Comfortable working independently
- Calm when plans change at short notice
Previous PA, EA, operations or similar experience would be useful, but attitude and ability are more important.
The biggest requirement is initiative.
If you’re given a task you’ve never dealt with before, we don’t expect you to already know the answer. We expect you to be capable of finding it.
This role would suit someone who loves being busy, enjoys variety and gets genuine satisfaction from taking a complicated problem and getting it sorted.
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
